Set custom prices for resources based on specific criteria with Conditional Resource Pricing

You asked, and we delivered! With the latest update to resource pricing in Optix, you can now set custom prices for your resources including hot desks, podcast studios, meeting rooms, and more all based on specific conditions. That means no more one-size-fits-all pricing. 

Want to offer discounted rates on slower days like Mondays and Fridays? Done. Want to charge a premium for weekend bookings or reward your long-term members with VIP pricing? You’ve got it. 

This highly requested feature unlocks an entirely new level of flexibility, enabling creative pricing strategies that can boost revenue and make your resources more appealing throughout the week. Best of all, these pricing conditions use the same powerful logic as Automations so the possibilities are endless.

Set custom tax rates for resources based on specific criteria with Conditional Tax Rates

We didn’t stop at conditional pricing however — now you can set conditional tax rates for resources too. That’s right: the tax applied to a resource will automatically adjust based on the pricing conditions you’ve defined. 

For example, if you’re required to tax private offices, but not hot desks, you can now distinguish these from your organization’s tax rate. And whenever the price changes based on the conditions (like day of the week or user type), the tax updates alongside it. 

This added layer of flexibility gives you even more accuracy with tax and any custom accounting, while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Communicate with other admins with internal admin notes

This month, we built out Inbox+ even more with internal Admin Notes! Now, your team can add private notes within conversations helping you stay aligned, track member requests, and coordinate follow-ups without ever leaving the thread. 

Whether it’s noting that a tour was offered for Thursday at 2 PM or flagging a billing issue already under review, Admin Notes make it easy to keep everyone in the loop. No more missed context or clunky handoffs. 

With group messaging, @mentions, file sharing, and now Admin Notes, Inbox+ is becoming the go-to way to communicate and collaborate in Optix. Learn how Inbox+ works in this 2 minute video.

⚡️ Send a link in your automated emails

Here’s a small update that will make a big impact in your automated emails—you can now hyperlinks in your Automation emails! Include links to key documents in your onboarding emails, encourage leads to book a tour, drop in a survey link to collect feedback automatically, or point members to helpful resources. 

It’s a simple addition that unlocks even more ways to streamline communication and keep your members informed.
