Happy New Year! Since we published our 2018 feature roundup, we’ve been hard at work on some key features to start the new year off on a great note. We are excited to kickoff 2019 with some enhanced functionality for both you and your members alike. Let’s get into it.
For managers: Prospective users can now sign up on your website using their Facebook, Linkedin, or Google account
Last September we launched Web User Sign-up, which allows your members to sign up and onboard from your website. We’ve improved this functionality to provide users the option to sign up using their Facebook, Linkedin, or Google account, making your sign-up process more streamlined than ever.
For managers: Have more control over what your prospective members will see as part of mobile user sign-up flow
Are you having your members onboard and sign-up on your mobile app vs. your website? If so, you now have more control over what your prospective members will see as part of your mobile user sign-up flow. Make your custom properties visible or hidden, and required or optional, to reduce the number of steps it takes for your members to onboard while still collecting all of the information you need.
For managers: Send customized push notifications to your users
Getting the attention of your members can be challenging. With push notifications, people are 50% more likely to open and 7X more likely to click a link you’ve included than email. We’re excited to announce that we’ve added the ability for you and your team to send customized push notifications to your users, either individually or to all of your community. From promoting an event, to requesting updated billing information, push notifications will make it easier for you to capture your members’ attention.
For users: Respond to meeting invites from the home screen of your app to indicate whether you’re attending a meeting that you’ve been invited to or not
Optix can help streamline the meeting booking process for your members and with this new feature! Your members will now have the ability to respond directly on the home screen of your app when they’ve been invited to a meeting to indicate whether they are attending or not. They’ll also be able to see the details of upcoming meetings that they are invited to. Say hello to easier meeting coordination!
For users: See who liked your posts on the community feed
Part of what makes us excited to post on Instagram, Facebook, or any social platform is seeing the likes roll in! Your members will now be able to see who has liked their community feed posts in the app – it may even help them spark some new connections with fellow members.
