This month, we’re excited to release a number of updates that will benefit everyone, from you and your team of venue admins to your venue’s users, too! Let’s get into it, shall we?
For managers: Edit the details of meeting room bookings made by your users
One of the wonderful features of our software’s mobile app is that users can book your venue’s meeting and conference rooms on their own. But in certain situations, you’d like to be able to modify a booking on behalf of a user. Now, you’ll have the option to edit the details of bookings made by your Optix users from within your web-based venue dashboard. Make changes to details such as the time of the booking, duration, and title. Once you click save, the user will receive a quick email updating them of the changes you’ve made to keep them in the loop.
For your venue’s users: Favorite the spaces within your venue you book most frequently
We all have our habits, such as the specific meeting room or desk we find ourselves gravitating towards more often than others. Now, we’ve added a sleep update to help them optimize their booking process. With a quick tap while booking a room or desk in-app, users can favorite a particular space within your venue. In future bookings, spaces they “favorite” will be prioritized during the booking process.
Note: As of publishing this roundup, this particular update is only available on your venue’s iOS app. A corresponding Android update is soon to follow.
For managers: Migrate Stripe information for your members from a pre-existing Stripe account upon integrating Stripe with your new Optix account
If you love Stripe as much as we do, there’s a good chance you’re already using the powerful software to accept payments from your members even if you aren’t yet an Optix client. Keeping this in mind, we knew it was important to make it easier to migrate content from your existing Stripe account into your new Optix account upon signup.
For venue’s users: Find and connect with other members through the in-app ‘Community’ features (Coming soon!)
We love a good secret, but can’t keep this one in any longer: community features are (almost) here! After all, community is the cornerstone of any good coworking space, right? We spent the month of April creating a few key features that we designed to help your members connect and collaborate with other members. Consider this the first stage in an evolution towards Optix becoming a platform which enhances social connections amongst members of your community.
Note: Keep your eyes peeled for more details on the official launch of these new community-focused features, hitting the blog in the coming weeks.
